This was the blog of SunnyCompost, a community compost site in Sunnyside, Queens, NYC. In 2020, the site changed its name to Woodside Sunnyside Composting(WSC) and is now using Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter for sharing visual content, advocacy and community efforts.
The new website is https://www.woodsidesunnysidecomposting.org/home and has lots of information about how you can join these completely volunteer-run efforts.
